We have written plainly that Isabel's parents are deceptive about what happened to their daughter. They have claimed that Isabel was kidnapped by a stranger, yet in a national interview, the word "kidnapped" never entered their vocabulary. Here, while his daughter is being held against her will, he was not only able to have "fun" but a "lot of fun" in a softball game. Since coming out of their self-imposed silence (they first blamed police, who responded that they actually encouraged the family to do what comes natural for parents of a missing child: cry out for her.
Initially without statements, we saw that they would not cry out for her, but when they spoke, we saw why they did not want to speak:
They are not speaking from experiential memory.
After writing that they were deceptive, each public statement since has confirmed our analysis.
Imagine having "a lot of fun" while your little daughter is in the hands of strangers, scared out of her mind, suffering?
I do not imagine any father finding empathy with Sergio Celis.

This is Gerry McCann days after he claimed his daughter was abducted by a paedophile.
