KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Isabelle Zehnder reporting) -- On Thursday evening, when police announced the parents of missing Missouri baby Lisa Irwin were no longer cooperating with their investigation into their baby’s disappearance, tempers flared and the family launched back saying they’ve cooperated since day one and will continue to cooperate, KMBC reports.
Kansas City Police spokesman Steve Young adamantly stated Thursday evening that Lisa’s parents are no longer cooperating with them in their investigation into Lisa’s disappearance.
Lisa’s parents and family are not being shy or holding back – they quickly shot back, strongly refuting Young’s statement made during a news conference Thursday evening around 7 p.m.
Just as adamantly as police say they’ve stopped cooperating, Lisa’s family says they have and will continue to cooperate with police.
